Delete your MoneyMatters account

You can delete your MoneyMatters account, by Relative Developers, and all its data whenever you want. If you'd like to keep your data, export it from Settings first. There are two ways:

In the app

  1. Open MoneyMatters and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap "Delete account" and confirm.

By email

If you no longer have the app, write to us from your account's email address with this subject:

What gets deleted

  • Your account: email, password and profile (date of birth, country and currency).
  • Your personal space, with all its accounts, transactions, budgets, investments and goals.
  • Your membership of shared accounts. Those accounts carry on for the other members; if you were the owner, it passes to the next member.
  • The copy of your data on your phone is removed when you sign out or uninstall the app.

What is kept

Nothing that identifies you. Transactions you added to a shared account stay there for the other members. Technical data from Google Analytics and Crashlytics does not include your email or your amounts.

When

Your data is erased within 30 days of the request.
